We think social media has not been completely exploited for marketing purposes. To prove it, we had a bit of fun in the office that you can also incorporate in your next campaign!! We wanted to help out a local company become more successful with the Facebook Ad. Every employee was assigned their own personal source link. The challenge was whoever had the most leads by a certain day won.

 

The Competition.

Our office is competitive. Thankfully we all have our own laptops or it may have resulted in some scrapes, bruises and maybe a need for HR. The best part was there was no prize announced! Our business was not even the one who was going to benefit from a more successful campaign. Yet here we were posting to every mom group in the vicinity, random groups, for sale pages, and trying to recruit all our phone contacts to post the source code for us.

It worked! Our share source links combined together blew the Facebook ad out of the water. One of our employees, Katie tied the Facebook Ad for the most amount of leads. The business boomed the weekend that we launched the campaign. The employe who did win actually was given a signed LSU football by a very important Former Tiger Football Player.
